Default Coin Holder Questions

Hello,

With the standard Fold and Staple Holders, is there any particularly
good brand? Are all holders that use mylar of the same quality - will
they provide the same protection for the coin? When stapling, should
I try to just use a single staple? Or is it better to staple each
edge? Or perhaps staple at the corners?

I see there is a holder called 'Air-Tite' and a similar one called the
'Direct Fit Air-Tite'. The former comes with some kind of foam insert
and the Direct Fit does not need this. Can anyone tell me the
advantages/disadvantages of each or when one should be used as opposed
to the other?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

One thing to remember, if you are putting uncirculated coins into either the
cardboard or the Air-tite's (another brand of these are Kointains--they are
also pretty good and come in a variety of sizes) be sure to wear white
cotton gloves to keep your fingerprints and grease and such from your hands
from touching the coin. In fact, whenever handling uncirculated coins,
always wear the gloves. If you are going to be going through a pile of
circulated coins, I also suggest wearing some gloves (like the rubber
surgical kind) because coins are dirty and your hands will become very dirty
as well.
