Default Lakeland, FL Collectorama Show - February 24-26

The 40th Semi-Annual Lakeland, Florida Collectorama Show will be held
February 24-26, 2006 at the Lakeland Center (Exhibit Hall). There will
be about 100 Coin and Currency Dealers, and another 25 or so Neat
Collectibles, Postcard, Paper Americana, and Autograph dealers setting
up during the weekend.

BRING THIS NOTICE FOR FREE ADMISSION. Just present this notice to
Registration and you will not be charged the $3.00 (Good for the
weekend) Admission Fee. Collectorama also "buys" the parking lot so
attendees do not have to pay any parking fees during the show.

Collectorama does a tremendous amount of publicity and advertising and,
direct mail to previous attendees, invites to over 1000 Florida and
Georgia dealers to come and do business, and does paid newspaper ads in
Florida that reach over 4.3 million people. With Gold, Silver and
Platinum "red hot" and prices reaching 25 year highs, business is
expected to be very brisk, especially in precious metal related
material. The Coin and Currency markets are also "red hot" and there
dealers will be buying and selling a wide range of numismatic materail,
as well as Collectibles of every description.

Some folks say Collectorama isn't a Coin Show because they also have
Neat Collectibles there. Other folks say Collectorama isn't a
Collectibles Show because it has so much Coins and Currency. Management
of the Collectorama Show say it is a multi-hobby show, with its main
emphasis on Coins, Currency and Precious Metals, which also includes a
lot of fun and profitable collectibles fields.

Whatever you want to call Collectorama it is a very good business show,
in a great facility, in the middle of Florida during its busiest
tourist season. Only about a half hour from either Tampa or Orlando
Lakeland offers a nice small town atmosphere, with major metropolitan
area just a short distance away. Close to all central Florida
attractions such as Disney, Sea World, Bush Gardens, Epcot and Cypress
Gardens, it is a great place to bring the family for a weekend of
business and enjoyment. Be sure to leave time for Farmer Jones Red Barn
for some of the best steaks in Florida.

All youngsters, 12 or under, get a daily dip into the Kid's Bucket for
a Free Hand Full of Money, and generous dealers and collectors help
keep the bucket filled with numismatic goodies for the Kids.

Collectorama is open to the public from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Friday and
Saturday, and 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Sunday. There are free hourly door
prizes and a Free Appraisal and Evaluation Clinic on Sunday from Noon
to 2 P.M.

Thursday's are dealer set-up and Special Bourse at Collectorama and
invites all hobby dealers without tables or booths to come and do
wholesale business from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting dealers gain entry on
Thursday with a $25.00 (minimum) donation to Florida Youth Villa.

The host hotel for Collectorama is the Baymont Inn, which is just off
of Interstate 4 at Exit 33 and offers a great rate of $64.00 per night,
which is a super rate being right in the middle of prime tourist
season. For room reservations call the Baymont at 863-815-0606.

The Collectorama Show has moved back into the Exhibit Hall which is
larger than Sikes Hall and still has some space remaining for new
dealers. Coin and Currency dealers interested in table space, or
Collectibles Dealers interetest in booth space should call Ed Kuszmar
at 561-392-8551.

Hope to see you at the Collectorama Show. Ed
