If only they'd do half as much to protect their members from persons who try to
fraudulently sell to them INside of ebay...wait!

That doesn't affect Ebay's bottom line, does it?

Nevermind.

Exactly.

ITS NOT BEING A TATTLE TALE HE IS HELPING EBAY PROTECT OUR

In this thread, we have a perfect example of what I was trying to say about
the "no-scammer" group

And a perfect example of why you are completely wrong.

This is not the first time frank has whined in this group about getting
corrected by ebay about a rule he blatantly broke.

I have never "whined." I have stated facts about policies that ebay and
paypal enforce which are patently unfair.

Frank has spammed his previous bidders,

Not under any reasonable definition of spamming

has had friends shill his auctions,

I have had friends bid on my auctions, and buy if they win

a friend who shared his address he registered with ebay bid on his auctions,

Nope

has created an account under a name and address not his own to bid on an
auction for the express purpose of driving the bid to such a level as to scare
off all other bidders and then not paid,

not me

has repeatedly cross-posted e-mails

crossposted email?

flaming known usenet trolls for no other reason than he has no self-control,

I will defend my reputation against known liars like Mark Greene

and, has repeatedly whined and complained about all of the above in this venue.

Frank Provasek deserves every bit of grief and trouble in his life that he
posts about here because, without exception, he brings it on himself.

You don't have to take my word for it, it's all their in google.

And Mark Greene likes to twist the facts, bend the truth, insinuate, and lie
to make a point. If he gets called on it, he threatens to sue you.

It's spam if it's unsolicited. So says eBay, in the rules Frank agreed to
abide by. So say enough other ISPs to make it a perfectly valid

I think you may have misunderstood the point I was trying to make.

What I meant was that by giving the whole topic a full airing from BOTH
sides, the truth emerges even more strongly, not less.

The no-scammer group would have censored out one side of the argument (they
screen out people), yet here in this group, where the pro-spammer person is
able to freely post, it only increased the position of the anti-spammers, it
did not help the pro-spammers. It also promoted understanding of the
motivations, not necessarily evil but perhaps off base, of the spammers,
which I personally found interesting and informative, but YMMV. While I now
understand Frank's perspective, I still don't like spam.

Then tell me brainiac, why is it illegal to post warez originating to
or from computers located within the USA?

Can the US control computers and their owners, who are located in the US?
Yes.

What does that have to do with whether or not the US goverment governs or
controls the internet?

A word coined by the late, great Bill Cooper, to describe sheeplike, herd
mentality, non-thinking people. Rather apt, I'd say.
