Why not REALLY protect yourself, Noodles? Connect a 480 V feed
through a few hundred feet of SO cord, wire each phase to one of your
nuts and the right hand respectively, throw the third phase in the
water, go get in your tin boat and set off. When you get far enough
away, I'll jerk the cord, the tin boat will capsize, you'll go in the
water, and I'll throw the breaker. Deal?

I am beginning to think DB is for DiaBolical!

....and a 6 point Bay blanket is the epitome of "value," indeed! 73
years of service in this family. Just have to hide them from the
moths in the off season!

How about it, Noodles? Think you're "stronger" than a 480 V 3 phase
feed? Take the dB challenge!

It seems that, up north, the concept of lasting value is still quite
alive, whereas the entire US is going down the john due to crass
commercialism and imported cheapo goods from China.

Case in point: I had an engine job to do on a Chrysler, and so had
out my venerable Chicago Pneumatic air ratchets to assist with the
work. A youngish neighbor happens by, sees the CP tools and remarks,
"Man, those are OLD! Do they still work?" Well, of course, I had to
show the dullard that they indeed not only worked but worked well.
Then he boasted about the two air ratchets he'd bought at the
California tool outlet of cheesy Chinese crap, Harbor Freight Salvage
of Camarillo, now boasting of stores all over the place.

In due time, he brings his Chinese 3/8" ratchet over to show me "it
looks JUST like that old CP, but it's new!" So, onto the chuck it
went for a spin or two. No air throttling at all..either on or
off...the check ball on the drive square was too weak even to hold a
good shallow socket...air motor would stall inexplicably at top or
bottom center, requiring a nudge from the hand to get it going. It
also would stall out at about 5 ft/lbs less torque than the old CP.

35 year old Chicago Pneumatic, or new Chinese? One represents lasting
value and quality..the other represents stupid consumerism and
corporate "globalization." The choice, of course, is obvious...to me,
anyway.

It must be nice to live in never-never land where you live- remind me
to come visit you there sometime, when I want a vacation from reality.
Do you really think my death would improve your pathetic situation ??

Your college professors ruined you- face it.

You're the one that's unemployed, not the entire rest of the country.
It's just that you suffer such financial hardship- for your pagan ways.

Noodles: "Babble babble babble babble babble..."

All this incoherent babbling of late, Noodles. You must be
"trippin2much" again! Time to get back on your anti-psychotics!

Like they said over in alt.music.led-zeppelin: "Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
Cuckoo! The clock on the wall says it's time for your anti-psychotic
meds!"

Are the voices in your head too loud today, or are you just sock
puppeteering posts because you're a lazy slob?

Now that's some shock therapy Dr. DesertBob. Trip takes
the jolt and claims he's never felt better. You get some kind of Nobel Prize
for Medicine. Everyone wins!
