Facts coming out...Cheney orchestrated Lebanon
Why not REALLY protect yourself, Noodles? Connect a 480 V feed
through a few hundred feet of SO cord, wire each phase to one of your nuts and the right hand respectively, throw the third phase in the water, go get in your tin boat and set off. When you get far enough away, I'll jerk the cord, the tin boat will capsize, you'll go in the water, and I'll throw the breaker. Deal? I am beginning to think DB is for DiaBolical! |

Case in point: I had an engine job to do on a Chrysler, and so had out my venerable Chicago Pneumatic air ratchets to assist with the work. A youngish neighbor happens by, sees the CP tools and remarks, "Man, those are OLD! Do they still work?" Well, of course, I had to show the dullard that they indeed not only worked but worked well. Then he boasted about the two air ratchets he'd bought at the California tool outlet of cheesy Chinese crap, Harbor Freight Salvage of Camarillo, now boasting of stores all over the place. In due time, he brings his Chinese 3/8" ratchet over to show me "it looks JUST like that old CP, but it's new!" So, onto the chuck it went for a spin or two. No air throttling at all..either on or off...the check ball on the drive square was too weak even to hold a good shallow socket...air motor would stall inexplicably at top or bottom center, requiring a nudge from the hand to get it going. It also would stall out at about 5 ft/lbs less torque than the old CP. 35 year old Chicago Pneumatic, or new Chinese? One represents lasting value and quality..the other represents stupid consumerism and corporate "globalization." The choice, of course, is obvious...to me, anyway. |

How about it, Noodles? Think you're "stronger" than a 480 V 3 phase
feed? Take the dB challenge! Now that's some shock therapy Dr. DesertBob. Trip takes the jolt and claims he's never felt better. You get some kind of Nobel Prize for Medicine. Everyone wins! |
