Default $2.00 U.S. paper currency/Any value????

Attn:- Knowledgeable coin collectors

I have in my possession a $2.00 paper bill with Thomas Jefferson's
picture on it. Does it have any value today other than face value?

Can you advise web sites where value is posted?

Thanks. Kindly reply by posting only.

Sly is probably correct. Check the series date (lower right of
Jefferson's portrait). If 1976 or later, $2.00. Also, check the
reverse. If it contains a depiction of the signing of the Declaration
of Independence, it's common and worth $2.00. These are usually
readily available at your local bank.

If it has a red seal and the reverse depicts a picture of Monticello,
it may be worth a little more.

Worth $2 unless it's unusual. I've spent over 12,000 Toms in the past 4
years. Bought another 100 at the credit union today.
