The Red Thumb Mark published by George H. Doran Company

Howdy,
I just got a copy of the Freeman's The Red Thumb Mark. This edition
was published by George H. Doran Company, and has no publisher date. In
fact there is no publishing info other than the company's name and New
York location on the bottom of the title page.
I know that Doran merged with Doubleday in on Dec. 30th 1927 (Zempel's
First Editions). And I know accoring to Zempel this copy isn't a first
thus edition by Doran.
The book must have been published in 1927 or before. I can't find
any for sale listings for a Doran edition. I was wondering if anyone
had an idea of when Doran may have started publishing this title. Or
if anyone has seen Doran Copies floating about. The book is red cloth
with white text.
