Another great 16-D value, especially since, as we all know, "bigger is
always better."

I reported this one to eBay. What do you think the odds are that
they'll pull it?

Check out his feedback and see what he's gotten away with so far. Beyond
belief.

Looks like it's been cleaned. I'd stay away. But then bigger is always
better.

Happy bedding.

I especially like his 1916-D "mercuary coin" where the "D" apparently fell
off when the coin "accedinatly" fell into hot water. Heck, it WAS there, so
that must count for something. And I guess his balky camera just couldn't
get near the coin whenever he tried to photograph the reverse. I guess that
didn't matter to the one sucker who bid $102.50 for it, after factoring in
the $14.99 shipping charge. And for every winning bidder, there is usually
one more right behind who loses out. Bummer!

And then there's his auction titled "1937 PCGS MS67 Indian Head Buffalo
Nickel MS67" where he describes the coin as in "ok condition" and "almost
impossible to get from anywhere rare" (true, I guess, if you think about
it). His photos show a perhaps VF nickel in a 2x2 holder. Someone snapped
it up for $82.99 and left positive feedback.

WE may be the ones doing things all wrong.

He says it's "Acutal coin not a replica! " Maybe acutal means something we
don't know. I for one, though, appreciate his sentiments and wishes of good
fortune for us all:

"Happy bedding and good luck to all "

There are many on ebay who are very happy to pay lots for overgraded coins
and notes and we know that they are happy to do so as they leave positive
feedback.

Some ebay sellers sell more "uncirculated" notes in a month than many
dealers would offer for sale in 20 years, the notes they sell are uniform in
appearance and look ironed, but they still sell for a lot of money and the
buyers are happy, it's truly unbelievable. Billy

Maybe it does. I wrote him telling him his auction was fraudulent.
Here's his response:

"it is a genuine coin. If was a replica it would have a copy stampted
on it but it does not.
Thanks it is not fraud and im not lying thanks"

Default "Actual Coin, Not a Replica"

This bit "Acutal coin not a replica! " could be read as the actual coin is
not a replica but it does not say that the offering is not a replica.

If it said "Acutal coin, not a replica! " that has a different meaning.

Although the seller gives the impression that his English is poor I'm sure
he knows exactly how potential bidder will read the sentence as.

It's impossible to protect the foolish on ebay from themselves. Billy

The seller is hoping we'll doze off before noticing a problem. Notice
that he says "Happy bedding and good luck to all".
