Framing colonial currency
I've just acquired some ungraded colonial currency in very nice
condition. I'd like to frame some to display and obviously don't want to harm the notes in any way. I'd be using all acid free matting without any adhesives or altering of the notes in any way. How much fading should I expect if I use UV protective glass? The notes are a collection I may add too and are therefore an investment as well. When displayed they will be placed so they get no direct UV exposure. An aside question is, what's a good reference book to help with the history and grading of these notes? Thanks. Dave |

Dave When I wanted to frame some notes I had, I made full size color copies on my printer and framed the copies. The original notes are snuggly in the SDB. |

Framing colonial currency
Good idea. BTW, if you do a high-res scan, you can take it to Kinkos or
other copy shop and have it blown up and put on posterboard very inexpensively. On 9/23/06 7:57 PM, in article , "Brian Blackwell" wrote: "Dave" wrote in message oups.com...
