This note was cut from an authentic BEP sheet from the U.S. Treasury." Perhaps you would like him to say "I cut this from an authentic...." ? Yes. Precisely. In English, "looks like" and "seems to be" are nearly indistinguishable in meaning. "Was cut" could certainly be interpreted to mean " by any entity," including, "by the BEP." Thus the thin line, IMHO. Aram. Of course, eBay bidiots rarely read descriptions; hence the current $23.50 bid. It might be interesting to get the SS involved with it and see what they do... The SS won't do a thing. As for bidders? They get what they deserve if they don't take the time to read. |
