Dunno. Maybe it was just a fluke. You might want to try touching the
coins with your other hand or maybe setting them on your head.

This is an extreme case of the so-called Black Money syndrom. If you
bring the coins to a money laundry, have them laundered thoroughly,
preferably in several circles, and then put them on the detached hand,
all should be fine again soon. In the meantime, do not type too much.
