An interesting £100 note

I wonder if it will hit the reserve, it's at £870 now.

An identical note but numbered 2 notes earlier in good very fine
condition failed to sell at the Spink auction of 30 September 2004, the
lower estimate was £790 so the start price would have been around £750
but it got no bids.

The description for the ebay note is, "There are no folds at all, no
pinholes, no tears or any blemishes whatsoever. The paper & print is
original, the quality the same the day it was made", it looks to me to
be in a similar grade to the Spink note, i.e. good very fine. Billy

Now thát's something to salivate over! [Just not on!] I've always
liked those huge BoE notes. Course, 900 quid's a bit out of range...
