Default Source for State Quarters?

I had a coworker ask me the other day how he can acquire some of the state
quarters he hasn't been able to find in circulation. He says he's managed
to find only 14 different so far. Seeing as I don't collect things this
new, I didn't have many answers for him. I mentioned eBay, and he balked.
I did point him to the local, small, monthly "show" at the American Legion
hall. I know I've seen dealers with quarters there, I just couldn't tell
him if they were priced right ... or not.

It sounds like he'll go to this show, at least to scout things out. This is
his first venture into possibly BUYING a coin (for more than face) ... so I
want to give him the correct information.

Anyone have a dependable and realistic source with much variety? I'm not
too sure he's worried about quality, but some typical "BU" pieces migth be
attractive. If not lightly circulated.

Ah, I also remember now a local dealer close to where I work. I'll mention
these folks to him too, tomorrow.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

What does he need? I have all the states but in circulated condition.
Some are in all most unc. condition. I have no idea what to charge.

I'll check with him tomorrow. Perhaps I'll just put him in direct contact
with you, if that's ok.

Perhaps others here can chime in with some idea of a "fair" price.
