Default London fancy cancel

Hello,

French postmarks collector, I sometimes find english ones.

This unusual (?) one seems to be a London fancy cancel, but I do not find informations about it.

Would someone help me ?

This is a newspaper agent pre-cancel, starting inthe 1870's. Issued to
certain large newspapers and agents to pre-cancel them before mailing.
Alcock and Holland are the GB cancel specialists, this is their type

Thank you very much.
This one is on a letter card sent to Canada, so I did not think to a newspaper pre-cancel.
Best regards,

What is the rest of the card. Perhaps something to do with newspapers?
If not, then it's probably 'canceled against regulations'.

Thank you very much.

Good evenings,

Here are scans of the letter card.

Inside (2cd scan), references to "Cricket news" and "Strand magazine"

Sent together ?

Possibly, that would explain the cancel if handed in at a 'newspaper'
receiving window together with the magazine.

Interestingly, this was posted in the 5th month of the reduced cost
"Imperial Penny Post", that having been established on 25th December,
1898.

Very nice specialist item!

Thank you very much for these informations.
Understanding a postal item is always interesting.
I'll keep this letter card in my "unusual things album" rather than in a shoe box.
Best regards,
