Question for the group: WWe Auctions? (On Topic)

Ok-

Even though I enjoy looking at the multitude of signed items by the wwe
Superstars, many of the items that are bid on, to me-are way out of my price
range. Right now, a Eddie Guerrero signed chair is over $300 mark, an item
that had to be relisted from last year.

The question I have, is does anyone know where this auction monies go? Back
into the corporation sess pool, or a charity? I would hope that the money
raised from the auctions, wwe certainly doesn't need it, nor do the
superstars...

Just pondering a thought...

i don't know 100 %, but allegedly it's 60/40, with the 40% going to
some charity. the purpose of the auctions is to control what goes up on
ebay and combat folks like me who hang out at the airport and other
events getting autographs of the WWE stars just to re sell them. they
pay those guys to do the signings. they don't advertise any kind of
charity as a part of the auction sale or anything. it's true motivation
is to get the money to the stars of the WWE because they are vastly
underpaid.
but like i said, i don't know the whole situation.
