Anyone out there subscribe to Numismatic News & get the free silver eagle
each year?

I just got an email saying I could get this deal for $36


I can get a subscription for $16 by itself, and buy a silver eagle for
about $18, so I'm not sure if that is such a great deal.

Do they occasionally drop the price by this deal a bit more?

How can you get an annual subscription for $16?

I've gotten the silver eagle several times and usually the cost is somewhat
less than the cost of getting both separately. But where are you getting
the $16 cost for the subsctiption by itself. The cost of a no frills 52
week subscription on the Numismatic News website
http://www.numismaticnews.net/ is $24.99 and the cost on Mags4cheap
http://www.mags4cheap.com is $23.95. So it looks like the $36 cost of both
is a good deal given that spot silver is above $15 today making $18 a good
price for a silver eagle.

I've noticed that the coins given out by the coin mag publishers seem to be
nicer than average. It's been easier and cheaper for me to build my eagle
set waiting for the promo than picking through dealers stock.
