I have a bunch, too. Pulled 'em out of circulation, one at a time. I
figure they're worth at least a penny each.

Yup. They're more valuable for the historical interest, than anything
else.

Thanks. Actually i have coins from all over the world collected by my
late brother in-law. If i find out any are worth anything i'll get the
money back to his widow. Places Norway, Holland, GERMANY, SPAIN, SWIS,
DENMARK and a few others. Maybe i need a coin book.

Seriously now, aren't they worth at very minimum 2x face?

According to copper prices, they are worth just a bit over that.

If you've got US pennies from 1943 and they're copper, they're worth a
bit more than melt...

What does the price of copper have to do with their value?

Well, seeing as how they are 1943 cents, if they ARE copper and they are
worth hundreds of dollars (if not thousands), nothing! Any 1943 copper
(bronze) cents are errors, as 1943 cents were zinc plated steel.
