Good Morning Everyone,

My mother gave me some books and there is one in particular that I am
curious about. Sometimes in checking certain websites as to the value
of a book, the information isn't an exact match, i.e., date. Anyway I
have The Complete Poetical Works of Robert Burns with explanatory and
glossarial notes and a life of the author by James Currie, MD. The
only complete American Edition, New York D Appleton & Co dated 1852.
Do any of you have knowledge about this book?

Take a look at used.addall.com

Important factors include the condition of the work and the engravings.
Are the pages still white or turning brown or speckled with
discoloration? Are all the pages still bound to the spine? Is the
cover cloth or leather? If leather, is it full leather or quarter
leather? What condition is it in, including scratches and other marks,
bumps to the corners. Is it the one volume version or the two volume
version, in which case do you have both volumes?
