Default A Ton Of Ethinic Dolls

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the group, and I was happy to find you all.

My grandmother has a TON to ethinic dolls (mainly African American),
Barbies, Cabbage Patch, and others, she has collected from the Early
70's until around the Mid to Late 90's.

All are still in the box never opened, and I wanted some advice on
how/who to sell them.

We want them to go to collectors who will care for them the way she
has, but they are taking over a room in the house, and I would rather
her enjoy the money than me have to sell them later in life.

I can send pictures etc. and more information if anyone is interested.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Christie Q

Dear Christie,

If you sell them On ebay ,you might be able to sell them as a group or
single. You might find a collector that really wants them. Do you have a
doll store in your area that might know of a collector, who would
purchase the dolls. You might want to see if you have a doll club in
your area.( The dolls from the 70's are vintage).
You might also want to give them to a family member that will cherish
the dolls,if feeling are attached to any special dolls.
