Whats up Gang - Anyone got any idea what a 10 CENT 2004-D NGC MS-68 FT would bring in auction/sale ?? I looked at Coin Values and the PCGS online price and couldnt find anything priced above MS67 !! Are there any other good online price guides someone could point me in the direction of?? Thanks Gang!! Regards, Gary Loveless |

Gary-
The problem is that so few have been submitted for grading that no reliable data exists on the scarcity of them. The NGC pop report only shows about a dozen total graded so far, and only three got the "FT" designation -- which may mean that nine didn't, or it may mean that the other nine submitted did not pay the extra fee for variety attribution. It will be a few years before enough are submitted to know what they are worth. But right now, you seem to have a pop 1 coin! Maybe you can convert it to quick cash. Regards, Tom |

"John N" wrote in message oups.com... Alright I know this is stupid - but what is FT? Full teeth. John N Torch All the little lines down the torch on the reverse must be complete and unbroken. Just like the FBL--full bell lines--on a Franklin half or the FS--full steps--on a Jefferson Monticello reverse. I had 6k worth of dental work done so now I have Full Teeth--but old Roosevelt is not smiling so he would never get a Full Teeth designation ;-) |

FT means "full torch" on the back of the dime. This is the Roosie
equivalent of the "FB" (full bands) designation that applies to Mercury (Winged Liberty Head) dimes; PCGS still uses FB for Roosies. Regards, Tom |
