Erik Estrada IP Success!

Hey all-

This past Saturday in Newport News VA, Erik Estrada appeared at the Warwick
Moose Lodge Bike rally for a fund raiser to help promote Safe Surfin' on the
internet for kids.

Didn't get a 'graph from him, but he did allow for a photo op, and got a
handshake from him. He still looks the same after all these years, and is
still the ladies man.

Todd F. helped me get an 8x10 from Erik a few years back at HCS. He was
selling 8x10 autographed later Saturday afternoon at the Moose lodge in
Hampton, Virginia.

Neat to see him in person, although I wish Randi Oakes would have been with
him, LOL!!!

Saw him at Chiller last fall and he looked pretty fat .

Missed that one! We missed a few other opportunities too. Several
people were here recently. Haven't been into it all so much lately.
Happy you got to meet him though. How'd you find out about it?

my coworker sent an email to me at work.

I did some research, and found an online article in the Daily Press
(Hampton), about his appearance.

Nice guy! He did the traditional, and carried stuff in so he couldn't sign.
He did however, signed later in the day for charity = $$$.

Signing is just part of it all. I haven't been keeping up with all the
celebs here lately. Mrs. Obama was here too and some others.
Although we aren't an area where celebs hang out etc; we do get
opportunities quite a bit for being in the southern half of the East
coast. I don't know why but we do.
