Default FS 1926 Leica No.3068

1926 Leica No. 3068

The serial number (3068) of this camera indicates
it was manufactured by Leica about March 1926 as a Leica Ia.
A few years later, it was apparently sent back the factory to fit
the new coupled rangefinder and interchangeable lens mount.

It was acquired by a GI of Patton's army after the European War in
1945. I got it from his family. It's been well-maintained over the
years and is in excellent working and cosmetic condition.

The included 5cm Elmar f3.5 lens is good,
but needs some optical cleaning.

I'm willing to take additional photos as needed
for the prospective new owner of this fine old camera.

For sale at $950 USD.
