This is a set of WWI U.S. Army Soldiers Winter Wool Long Underware and
Undershirt garments. They are in excellent condition. The T-shirt measures
29 inches long, 16 inches (between armpits), sleeve length 20 inches
(armpit-to-cuff), sleeve length 24 inches (collar-to-cuff), 18 inches
(shoulder-to-shoulder). The long underware measures 39 inches long
(waist-to-bottom of leg), 26 inches long (crotch-to-bottom of leg). The
waist is size 31. The underwear is marked, (31, Vesta Undergarments, June20,
1917, Boston, Mass). They has a 3-button fly (buttons are present) and
string tie for sizing on the backside. The name of the soldier is marked on
the front. Both underware and shirt are in excellent condition with no
holes, tears, stains, fraying, or any other damage. I purchased these from
an estate sale and can provide additional information and copies of service
on the soldier if wanted (rank, unit, enlistment, discharge, areas of
service, etc). He served in France during WWI. This is a nice original set
of undergarments great for completing a WWI soldier display.
