Default Two questions about pennys

Ok I found this site
http://www.pcgs.com/prices/frame.cht...ncoln_cent_mod
which you guys probably already know - I noticed,for instance,that a 1987 s
penny grade 67 can fetch 8 bucks. Is that right ? And how do you tell if
its a '67'or '68' - I'm guessing that some kind of grade.

Also,is canadian money worth anything ?
Well,I know it is to canadians, but do their coins tend to be collectible to
anyone besides them ?
The reason I ask is that I found a cigar box full of pennies in an
attic, and some of them are canadian.

No. Canadia was incorporated as the 51st through 56th states of the US
this morning. Mr Bush went over to Blighty just to make the
announcement.

Sure. Coin collecting isn't restricted to one's own national borders;
and especially recently, Canada has produced some nice circulating
commemoratives.

You could start a collection by looking for a Whitman coin folder
designed for Canadian pennies. Look on Ebay for starters. You could
also start a collection of (presumably) US pennies from that old box
as well. Even UK, NZ and Australia have collecting folders for a
variety of coin denominations.

Hmm I must have missed that ... So many invasions these days to keep track
of and all.
Must have slipped the National Guard over the border during the weekend and
took the mounties by complete suprise.

I knew that. I was just testing you guys.

Yeah I could start a collection,but I got too many hobbies already,and I'm
looking to turn metal into paper in this case.
Box is so heavy I could probably use it as a dead weight also.
Yup theres a bunch of U.S. pennies as well - Are they made of the same mix
of metals ?
Seems the canadian coins are typically much brighter than U.S.

I collect them, and I live in New Mexico.

Actually, the announcement will be made by the Treasury Secretary. Not an
invasion, but a buyout. We really just wanted your prescription drugs, but when
Jacques made us an offer for the whole thing...well, Alaska worked our well for
us so why not?

I doubt a PF67 and PF68 will bring $8, despite the PCGS guide. Looking at
eBay, I see a PCGS PF69 DC that sold for $13.99 plus shipping. PCGS price
guide lists that grade at $35. A lot of nice uncertified proof cents,
probably at least PF67, selling for $1.75 or there abouts. I did see one
that brought $20, but most are a lot cheaper or take no bids. Here is the
search results;

Yeah thats it - Canada has been interupting our land access to Alaska for
how many years now ?
Its about time we did something about that.

As for quebec - I'd say their most valuable asset would be them french
speaking little hotties.

Interesting.
I take it the 'red' cents are reffering to some particuliar lustre or tone
?
Are the majority of these coins professionally appraised,or is the grade
more or less a matter of opinion ?
