Granted, this is not the prettiest 1922 No D I've ever seen. I would have
thought this would sell for twice the hammer amount.

This may be a PCGS XF-45, but it's not an Ira PCGS XF-45. It's splotchy and
unattractive, and the reverse isn't really all that strong to my eyes. The
left wheat lines look pretty blurry on my screen.

Obviously not up to Ira's standards, but have you done an eBay search on
completed "1922 No D PCGS XF45".

So many people buy the slab not the coin, I think this was cheap.

I have been archiving pictures of 1922 No D PCGS coins, and now have 29 of
them, including 4 in XF-45. This coins pales by comparison, even with the
lowest of the four. But hey, I hope the guy is happy with his bargain.
