i also did my part for the last two years to get rid of this son of a bitch
by sending abuse reports & going as far as phoning his isp's, just to be
told that they could not do a thing unless i sent them abuse reports. well
every abuse report was a waste of time in both google & epix because both
of their abuse mailboxes are manned by /dev/null.

i must regretfully aggree that this group needs to be killed & resurected as
a moderated group, that is the ONLY way to "once, & for all", get rid of
charlie. to just let this group go unmoderated will be a win for charlie.
this bickerring with nudo is also a win for him too.

malcom needs to send the "kill" command to end this group, otherwise, we
just handed this group over to charlie for making it his own personal
playground.

Correct, and I must give credit where credit is due...8 tracker from
hell has been working hard to eliminate this pest, as well. There ARE
others who have tried, spending their own time to "self-police"
Usenet, and are met with uncaring admins and a greedy eBay. Epix must
be a little dirtbag ISP, the favorite of scammers/spammers, as you're
right...their abuse input goes to /dev/nul, because they can't be
bothered. Google just runs amok, and is the new favorite of small
time crook/spammers. Google Groups accounts, according to ISC, for
only .4% of Usenet traffic, but around 5% of the spam. Sooner or
later, they're either going to have to clean up or get K-lined.

It's been sent. Various news servers will kill off the group starting
next week. What a shame...this at one time was a fun little group,
full of ideas, information and sources. One sick ******* ruined it
for everyone.
