Arts on Canadian Local Post
Canadian local post is a pretty obscure subject, but
does exist as a recognized part of Canadian Philately. I have set up a small page about Kaulbach Island Local Carriage Service with not less than eight art stamps issued during the shortlived service (1971-1984) -- all seascapes by reknown Canadian painters such as John O'Brien, Cornelius Krieghoff, Harold Beament, and Maurice Cullen. http://w1.1429.telia.com/~u142900356...daKaulbach.htm Have a look, and enjoy marine paintings from an era long bygone.
