2006 $50 1 oz Buffalo 24kt Gold proof w/box and COA Blowout
I bought this at the Baltimore show about a month ago for a customer.
Paid $1125 for it from a fellow dealer. Just got an e-mail from customer that he just doesn't have the funds (after stringing me along for three plus weeks). The US Mint stopped production of these coins last year with no mention of resumption. In any case, they were priced, by the Mint, at about $300 over the price of spot gold. Therefore, I am offering this piece to RCC regular active members at $1065 including shipping charges and insurance. Non-regulars pay the same price but pay $12.50 delivery charges. That's an excellent price. If you check the eBay sold prices, you'll see they sell for about $1150-$1195. The coin is flawless and in its original capsule and plush presentation case and outer box with COA. Gold closed Friday at $913 bid. When I bought this coin it was $910. Yes, I could keep it for hard times, but following Bruce Remick's advice as opposed to Oly's, I can buy a fruitcake deal of 50 fruitcakes in round decorated steel tins for the proceeds. Delivered to my door! Some are over 50 years old, but they never spoil. First come first served. I have only this one. Send me a private e- mail if interested. Ira Stein |
