build one, (simple circiut) i can get all the parts but one, the light

I never knew there was an IR remote option available on the R-91
series (first I ever saw them was with the CD100 machines) unless its
someone's home-made option ?

most IR receiver units use the same IR receiver module. Usually the
device has 3 pins, B+, gnd and signal out. This signal will be a
straight serial pulse train, with the carrier frequency stripped off
it.

if you check junked VCR, DVD players etc, and salvage the IR receiver
module from them, it should work in the circuit you are trying to build
