Price Check: Rock-Ola 1438 Comet
Hi - Sorry, I'm more of a pinball collector but ran into one of these
and they guy wanted to know what it's worth. It's black, in fair condition, and largely working. Searched the group and couldn't find much other than doesn't appear to be highly collectible. thanks |

I would say $500.00 in the condition described IF the pilasters are in
undamaged condition. These were all originally woodgrain with artificial woodgrain paint on the front metal parts. These are actually really cool little jukes. You can buy replacement pilasters but they aren't very close to the originals (fit good, look just ok). I usually pick these up pretty cheap and install new pilasters with aftermarket animation kits to make the juke look MUCH cooler for the casual home buyer. That way I can get over a grand for them to a non-collector. "pinhead" wrote in message oups.com... I have been getting around $800 for them to dealers in Europe. $500 is
cheap in my opinion. |
