Default cancel and e-bay auction

In my haste to list some new items in e-bay, I inadvertantly relisted an
item I have sold. How do I cancel this item?

If the auction has already taken bids, you have to cancel each bid before
you can end the auction. Go to your MY eBay page and click on the selling
tab at the top of the page. On the Selling page, go to the bottom and
select "Cancel bids on my item" from the menu. You will have to know the
item number of your auction and the user id of the bidder(s) whose bid(s)
you are cancelling. After cancelling all bids, go again to the Selling page
and go to the bottom and click on "End my auction early".

If you have not received bids yet, you just click on the "End my auction
early". You will need to know the auction item number.

I listed an auction once (at the old Collector's Universe), let it run, had
a winner, winner paid and I couldn't find the coin. Then I realized I had
sold the coin at the local coin club auction a few days before I had listed.
Buyer let me off the hook with no nastiness. Bill

there should be a link for that on your ebay page.
