"British euros" delayed for how long?

In the middle of 2003 I put in an order with Chards of the UK for the 2003
edition of (privately minted) British euros, that at the time were slated to
become available in the autumn... Since then, the date has been pushed back
but no specifics have been forthcoming, and Chards seems to be ignoring my
email queries. Does anyone know what is going on? Is the designer in the
middle of a legal battle, or just meticulous/slow? The coins were originally
intended as a birthday gift, then a Christmas gift, and now...? Many thanks
in advance; email copies of responses appreciated.

Well, for what it's worth Chard is selling these sets on Ebay now.
Maybe do a search, find one and ask the seller whether they are
available immediately followed by the killer question of why yours
have not been sent yet!?

I have recently bought a set via ebay and am of course now concerned
that I wont get to see them. If they turn up I'll let you know. They
are not for Xmas though, just for my own indulgence!
