Default Very Strange Book

Hi again
I have just bought a copy of The Dark Half by Stephen King in my local Oxfam
shop, nothing strange in that you might be thinking. When I got it home I
took the dust jacket off, and found to my surprise a half leather binding
with marbled outer boards, five raised bands to the spine with some very
fancy gilt decoration. All the page edges are gilt. It gets stranger, the
title on the spine reads "The Couch of Eros". The title page of the book has
been removed. Internaly the book is the same as any other copy of The Dark
Half.
Any ideas.
Best regards
Diane
