Default Robert Burns Old Edition

I found in a yard sale, "Poems, Chiefly Scottish, by Robert Burns,
With An Account of his Life and Character", published in Perth,
Scotland, 1813. Printed by R. Morison. The book is complete, but front
cover and a few pages not attached. I would appreciate advice on
repair: who to look for, if even advisable, etc. I have no idea what
it might or might not be worth(?) Thanks to all.

According to a 'A Bibliography of Robert Burns' by J. W. Egerer it appears
you have either #152 or #153. The first edition was published in 1786.

#152
Poems, chiefly Scottish.... In two Volumes. Perth: printed by R. Morison and
sold by principal Booksellers...1813 With the exception of pp.vi
and 144 the first volume is identical with pp. [i]-xiv+144 of the following
item.
#153
Poems, chiefly Scottish.... Perth: printed by R. Morison and sold by
principal Booksellers...1813

I typed exactly as in the bibliography, no other information is offered.
Does yours have any indiction that it was the first or second volume of a
set? Perhaps they were bound together.

There are a lot of variables when determining value. Condition being one of
the most important. You can compare what you have with other volumes at
