Curiosity Corner #205: A Tasty Cinderella indeed.

As a sibling to the stamp booklet issued by Jersey in 1982
"Links with France" courtesy of the Cognac maker Martell and Co,
there were issued just 2,160 bottles of a rare blend to commemorate
the Jerseyman who founded the famous firm in 1715.

Each of those shapely 2,160 brandy bottles, "Reserve du Fondateur"
carries on the back, a special label, with a Martell stamp,
and "Day of Issue" handstamp.

(BTW there were only 60,000 Martell Stamp Booklets produced)
