alt.slack posts in the past CANNOT be allowed to trickle into the
present time/space/good beer continuum. it would do BAD THINGS. bad
things like what happens when people in sci-fi movies push the big red

but there'll always be some unimaginative dumbass that say "yeah, but
whats the WORST that could happen???" and POP, another timeline
fritters into DUST. i bet THATS what causes the northern lights, the
remnants of alternate realities that ended when the big red button
gone done got PUSHED.
