Esterbrook erasers and lead
In one of the earlier messages someone asked about Esterbrook eraser
replacement size. This is what I use: The Esterbrooks take a Parker Ref. E16 DIA 6 mm eraser. While talking Esterbrook, they use 1.1 mm DIA. long leads. Scriptos are the ones I try to get when I can find them. I agree with whoever said that the modern erasers are something to joke about until you need to use one; that's when I use a different vocabulary (chuckling). The Pelikan 800 may be the biggest offender, with Stipula coming in a close second. Best, Ken. All incoming and outgoing mail scanned using Norton Anti Virus, by the shores of beautiful Puget Sound. |

Thanks, Ken... that would have been me, 6/14/05 "Mechanical Pencils" thread. I'll look for these erasers. |
