FA: USPS Schoenhut Girl doll

This doll was part of a reissue of dolls by the United States Postal Service
to commemorate the Classic American Dolls postage stamps and was
manufactured by the Collectible Concepts around 1998. Original retail price
was $299.00 and the original price tag is still intact. This particular
doll does not include the metal stand. The doll is in excellent (like new)
condition having spent all of its life in the box. Its original box is in
good but not great condition with a fair amount of shelf wear and a bit of
writing. The box appears to have originally been for a Boy doll. Boy has
been crossed out and the word Girl has be written above it.
Each doll is unique and the head was cast from an original Schoenhut #205
(circa 1911). They are hand-crafted of a high-quality casting material and
hand-painted by skilled craftsmen to replicate the original doll. The body
has been crafted of wood using the same detailed jointing as specified in
the original Schoenhut patent.

These dolls are very hard to come by as they are now mostly in private
