eBay Problem
I had bids on a whole slew of cards on eBay. Then my DSL went out.
After a day with no internet access, I get back online to find out that I'm "not a registered user" on eBay. I've got an e-mail from eBay that says I changed my e-mail address, but the one changed to is the same on I've always had. I tried responding, but it's from a no-reply address. Trying to find out what's up, I keep being asked to sign in to use the parts of eBay I see to possibly get an answer to my questions. But I can't sign in! Does anyone know an e-mail address or other way to contact eBay to straighten this problem out? Post or e-mail. Thanks! |

Thanks! ------------------ Sounds like possibly you've had your Ebay account hacked ....... had this happen to me a few months ago .... someone figured out my password (my fault that it was'nt tougher) and changed my email address and basically locked me out .... Ebay suspended me because they could'nt reach me for confirmation of the email change ......... I emailed Ebay and told them about the problem and within 1 1/2 days they had it figured out and they gave me a temporary Ebay account and password (so the perpitrators did'nt know it was me) and after 30 days I was able to go back to my old account ........ they did a good job getting it straightened out but it was definetly scary ........ good luck, ron |

Use the live help feature on the main page. The people they have working the
live help are for the most part retards but it may expedite the process. Mike I had bids on a whole slew of cards on eBay. Then my DSL went out. Mike, Thanks for the tip. Retard #1 bounced me to Retard #2, who,
after making me wait for 45 minutes, fixed the problem. I'm not sure how someone got my password & took over my account, considering I didn't answer any of those bogus e-mails asking for my password and that my password was 10 letters/numbers/characters that were case sensitive. But it happened. It also wasn't nice to see all the cards I lost because my bids were cancelled. Oh well. Thanks again! (MikeCouil) wrote in message ... Use the live help feature on the main page. Don,
At least you can't say you were not forwarned about the customer service retards I honestly think they must hire from temp agencies who recruit high school drop outs. A person would be hard pressed to find more ill trained personnell. Glad you got your account up and going. Mike Mike, Thanks for the tip.
