Default I'm a Power Seller!

I just now got a breathless email from eBay, proclaiming "You've been on a
super sales streak and since you've done so well, it's time to recognize you
for your efforts. You are PowerSeller Silver!"

I've never sold a thing.

I'm getting the same emails, but they are *not* from eBay. Notice
that they are not in your "My eBay" messages and that they contain a
link. Click the link, follow the instructions, and someone will be
selling a laptop computer under your eBay name.

I was hoping you might catch the subtle sarcasm of my post. 8)

My feedback hit 50 the other day and I got an email. I deleted it. Later
when I logged on, sure enough it was real. Fancy that.

Must be nice. All I ever get are job offers, sell my house, auto
insurance offers, credit repair offers, lonely women want to meat me,
and get discounts on viagra. All I ever get from ebay are fraud
alerts that require me to log in and verify my account information.

Jerry
I ain't sold nothin' (yet), either.

I have heard it described in many ways, but not that particular one!

What is annoying is getting US companies trying to sell me things
like insurance.
