....that I've bought on eBay, none has brought me more pleasure than these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300014935904

I simply can't express how delighted I am to have these unique beauties here
on my computer desk to have and to hold and admire! Heck, there's (at
current prices) nearly $25 worth of silver in them. I'm still *astounded*
that no one else bid on them.

Cliff, you have made an old man very happy! Thank you, friend!

Perhaps, like myself, others were planning to bid on these. I don't
telegraph my bids and don't use any sniping software. (I'm not giving my
eBay username and password to the companies that run the software.) I had
this item on my watch list but was busy when the end of the auction came
due. I was prepared to pay as much as $35 for these items. You just got
lucky I was painting the house when the auction came due!

"Jonathan_ATC" dropped by and commented thusly:

Having had these pieces for several days here on my computer desk to ponder
and admire, I think I can safely say that these two rounds are as cool as it
gets! (I've since bought a "normal" one like these to have a good
comparison as to what these two should have looked like if they had been
minted w/o the errors.)

Jonathan, if you had bid $35, they would have been yours for my max was not
that high. I feel that this purchase was indeed one of the best I've ever
made on eBay, and certainly the most satisfying.
