ANA RECOGNIZES TOP VOLUNTEERS
IN REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM

On the occasion of its 112th Anniversary Convention in Baltimore, the
American Numismatic Association (ANA) announced its annual awards to
distinguished volunteers in the Representative Program.
Selected from a number of topnotch nominees we
* Outstanding Club Representative--Ray Dillard, who has served the Flint
(Michigan) Flying Eagle Coin Club for many years, including as
treasurer and president. An active promoter of numismatics and the
ANA, Dillard works continuously with this club, as well as a number of
state and regional organizations, to keep them involved.
* Helen Carmody-Lebo Memorial Award for Outstanding District
Delegate--J. Eric Holcomb of Kent, Washington. An ANA life member,
Holcomb has compiled an exceptional record of service in the Pacific
Northwest as an ANA District Delegate. A member of every local coin
club within 30 miles of his home, and two regional organizations, he
also is editor of the ANA Representative Program newsletter, MintMark.
* Terry Armstrong Memorial Award for Outstanding Regional
Coordinator--Michael S. "Stan" Turrini of Vallejo, California. An
outspoken and ardent supporter of both the hobby and the
Representative Program, Turrini has performed exceedingly well as
coordinator for Region 8, which covers northern California, publishing
the "Stan-o-Gram" newsletter for his district and club
representatives. His dedication and support are a tremendous asset.
