Aram made me blush by writing:

This is a brilliant essay, Alan. Note that I have purposefully snipped
not a whit of it. You must place a Sacagawea Dollar in close proximity
to this little coin. That is the baby, Jean Baptiste, on our coin.
Coincidence? Probably, but a nice one.
This essay should be published in the mainstream. It feels so current.
