Default Rowe MM3 Just keeps searching (Need Help)

Hi, I have a Rowe MM3 Jukebox that's driving me nuts. When you press
the letter and number it just keeps searching and wont select. Is
there a contact or a switch somewhere that may not be sending a signal
down to the unit to fire. The machine works fine in all other aspects.
Any advise would be appreciated.I don't have a manual and have look
all over to try and fix this problem..Thank you

the wiper on the search unit isn't finding the right segment.

Check the wiper adjustment, and check the PCB tracks for cracks, if
you find them you can usually bridge them with fine wire soldered
across.
(make sure that any track repair DOES NOT get in the path of the
moving wipers

A Manual would be helpful here and worth buying if you plan on keeping
the machine long term

Those white connectors on the edge of the board, check too, wiring to
sprag coils, make sure sprag coil lever is moving freely, and isn't
too far away from the coil core (might be too far away to be able to
pull it down with the magnetic field)

when the sprag lever bottoms out in a notch of the sprag wheel, it
also mustn't actually touch the coil core

Best idea is to buy the manual (or try and get a copy somewhere) and
do all the search unit alignments and adjustments listed within.

Any ROWE EM manual from the JAL onwards should have this info, if you
already have (or can borrow/copy) any of these manuals.

I have had to take the push button assembly apart before and clean
connections.
