Default Before and after.

When bought it looked like this,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=3974789785

for sale it looks like this,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...1521 099&rd=1

This seller washed and ironed a note they bought from me and when I
asked where the dirt and wrinkles had gone to he blamed his daughter.

The problem is that they have a feedback of 600 with no negatives but
they regularly sell cleaned and ironed notes, beware.

They are very bare faced about it as they buy on ebay, "improve" the
note and sell it on ebay shortly afterwards.

There are several collectors of Scottish notes that know not to buy from
this seller, add you name now. Billy

Why not use eBay's "ask seller a question" feature to insert this
information into his listing?

Questions only show in the listing if the seller wants them to.

Too bad that is the case. This is clearly a situation of a note abusing
cleaner. Choice words come to mind, but are best left out of print.

That is a stark difference. I learned my lesson on a 1934 US $5 silver
cert. The bleaching gave it away. In the margins it was not totally
bleached. Sad to see sellers this dishonest.

We need a volunteer to ask the seller if the note has been cleaned and
ironed since they bought it. Billy

Done and you can guess the response, deadly silence.

I will tell you note.boy I really had to bite my tonque to do it too. I had
choice and inappropriate verbage that crossed my thoughts as I was
inscribing the note.
