Default Best way to contact Vatican re missing order?

On Jul 18 my credit card was charged for a 2003 Vatican Euro set.
Still nothing received. Anyone else still waiting for their coins with
a charge about the same time?

I tried emailing them, but the reply was a form letter saying go to
the web page for general information. Harv, did you call, write or
fax them when you had problems?
Thanks,
Barry

I emailed them and got the same form letter. I called them and got a
recording in Italian so I had a friend in Italy call them and translate it
for me. It said basically the same thing the email did. Go to the Web page.
So I FAXed them. Bajillions of non-answers to their FAX number. I set the
software to just keep dialing it every half hour or so and eventually it got
through. I think they turn off their FAX machine at night. I don't know if
the emails actually got read (I tried all kinds of different subject lines
to get their attention), or if it was the FAXes they responded to. It took
weeks to get a response by email. And then I finally ended up getting a
refund instead of the set I had ordered and which they said had been shipped
to me, and then said had not been shipped to me and they'd send me a refund
instead.. So the answer to the questions in your last sentence is yes ..

Mine was charged on the same day. I'm still waiting. I'm guessing they
have one guy in charge of 200,000 order forms. I expect it to get here
eventually.

Thanks Jack. That's reassuring and makes me think as you do, rather
than it being lost. Think I'll just be patient a while longer.

Barry, I am shocked that you would not make a donation to my
church. Here I thought we were friends! ;-)

I hope we can all be good neighbors online!

Bob,
I'm beginning to think it is a donation :.)
Glad all is well with you and family.

Believe it or not, we had a tornado not far away this morning (in
Princeton). Here, we just had regular wind and a deluge of rain. 20
miles away on the Joisy side of the Delaware River, there were
hundreds of trees and power lines down.
