Somewhere in currency land I seem to recall that the 100 Billion Z$
was the largest note ever officially placed in circulation showing the
full set of zeroes.
Is this still true?
I see Blair's 100 Trillion as well as 10, 20 and 50 Trillion notes for
sale on ebay. I assume these were printed but were never placed into
circulation,

Ralph:

It WAS the Guiness book record at the time it was issued.
Now surpassed by the 100 trillion $ note.

Yes the trillions were issued and are still valid
(supposedly to the end of July 2009).

They circulate alongside the new (4th) dollar notes.
100 trillion 3rd dollars = 100 4th dollars.

HOWEVER, since US$ and SA Rands are legally
acceptable in Zim now, the government is puzzled
as to why nobody wants to price their goods in or
accept Zim dollars in payment. Strange that! 8*)

Blair, the way I see it something is fishy with ebay.
I bid on the Zim notes. My bid was half the going rate and was
accepted as the higest bid. Twenty minutes before the auction ender I
get a notice from ebay that my bid was "Cancelled - Results Null and
Void."
"The listing was removed because it was in violation of ebay policy."
say whut? me thinks my bid was too low and the seller did not want to
sell at my price. He must have had some kind of kicker whereby he
could cancel the offering should there be extremely low bids.

I never had that problem, and I have over 1000 successful bids.

Like I said, something stinks at ebay.
I did place another bid for the same item, fifty-cents higher and won.
