Default washington DPO?

I need some help here. I have a cover, postmarked Jan 14, 1907 Seattle,
Wash, addressed to C. Millan, Alki Point, Wash. It is marked UNCLAIMED,
RETURN TO WRITER and also has a CDS, Jan 22, 1907 from YOUM**TOWN, WASH.
There is a similar backstamp. A previous holder of this cover penciled in
DPO with an arrow pointing to the CDS.

The "M" in cancel may not be an M. It could be something else.

Any Washington DPO specialist who can help me out with this?

I'm no specialist by any means but I'd guess its Youngstown, WA - fits
the letter pattern anyway. Plus there's a reference for such at
http://www.consolidatedmarkets.com/Philatelic.htm
last entry on the page.

- ADDENDUM -

In addition to my previous identification of
your Washington State D.P.O. as Youngstown,
I have found the following additional information.

"West Seattle beginnings: Humphrey Post Office
(later Youngstown) opens on January 13, 1903."

On January 13, 1903 the Humphrey Post Office opened.
John W. Reed was appointed the first postmaster.
Humphrey, renamed Youngstown on July 19, 1905,
was located in present-day West Seattle, three
miles south of the business district of Seattle,
within the future city limits.

During 1904, the Seattle Steel Company started
manufacturing steel, the first to be produced
in King County. The company, owned by William
Piggott (1860-1929), was located in Youngstown.

(Olympia: Washington State Library, February, 1966), Pgs. 668-669

In 1907, Youngstown was annexed to Seattle.
It is presently known as the Delridge area
of West Seattle.

I hope that this information answers your question.

West Seattle was the original trading post settlement for furs and pelts.

After the railroad came - the port of Seattle was developed, and the
settlement moved to Seattle proper. Seattle was staging point for Klondike
gold rush, and the original 'skid row' is where logs went down a chute
through the town.

If you're ever in Seattle go to the Pioneer Square Post Office. Here is the
original US post office, and they have a fine display of turn of century
mail carrier memorabilia.

I have an 1886 registered cover from Seattle to Key West Florida with a
large (20mm) 'SEATTLE' straight line used to cancel the stamps. This is part
of my 2c 1883 collection I exhibited in Portland 2 years ago.
