"Andrew W Applegarth" wrote in message .. . K6AZ wrote in : FYI - Beyond reporting this I can't say much else. http://www.k6az.com/forums/acg_federal_lawsuit.pdf -- K6AZ WEB PAGES http://www.k6az.com/web_pages.htm I'm a little confused. Since he claims to have read the posts on RCC, doesn't that make him as much of a member as is possible with a usenet newsgroup? In other words, didn't he just sue himself? - Andrew W Applegarth Nope, the group has always been accessible to us non-members. (Otherwise, one would need to obtain a password from an ISP under false pretenses to gain unauthorized access to a private members-only forum. The TOS violation is only the tip of the iceberg - in some states unauthorized computer access is a felony. Breaking the ROT-26 encryption used on all postings could be a DMCA violation as well.) -- Zamboni |

Tony OK, I've just read from the one poster thats farther out than the creators of this lawsuit. I don't really know who you are, but the idea of stifling information through financial threats being supported is beyond me. Even if you don't agree with the opinion being voiced, how can you say it is right to silence a voice? And it wasn't even like it was one person or group trying to take this guy down, the market seems to have born witness to what they say, even before they said it. I don't know anything about grading, but I think the values in the general coin market is beyond the reach of this NG. -- DW |

Everyone in RCC is being sued, including the apologists, trolls, flamers, crossposters, sock puppets, homophobes, Jesus freaks, and pornographers. I support Alan Hager and the ASA Accugrade lawsuit. It's about time
someone did something about the newsgroup terrorists here. Maybe the terrorists will think twice next time before lying, defaming and conspiring to put a good man out of business. |
