Default Lincoln Cent "BIE" Diebreak "Error"

Are there still any premiums for this die break? I remember a while back they
were actually marketed as an error and commanded a price. I have a few UNC
rolls of various dates containing them and wonder if they are still selling
for more than the normal roll price. Thanks for any info.

Steve, I sure wish there was... I imagine I have well over 50 of them that
my
mother gave me... she went thru thousands of cents back in the 70's-80's,
and
I have so many of them, clips, die chips and the spiked heads that were
being
talked about now adays.

Many were sent to CW, and to Alan, the answer man, I wouldnt be suprised
if Alan Herbert the answer man remembers her name! (Ann Flanigan..)

Oh well, I should send them all to him or Ken, to see what new varietys are
in there... and I bet their are some!

I don't remember her, but my computer does. I'm up to about 35,000 names,
beginning in 1968.

There is a market for the BIE die breaks. Contact Ken Potter at
