Pencil lead
I have several vintage pencils that take 1.1 mm lead. There seems to
be 2 kinds. One is a hard lead that lays down a light line and the other is a softer lead that lays down a dark line. I'm looking for the latter. Thank you kindly. -- GWClay |

If your pencils use the short refills (1 3/8"), you can find them on Autopoint's shopping area at Yahoo, http://shop.store.yahoo.com/autopoint/refills1.html. They have hard (H), medium (HB) and soft (B) leads in the 1.1MM size. Swisher also has Yard-O-Lead 1.1mm lead, in various hardness ratings. I don't know the length of these leads, you might inquire if you need something longer than the Autopoint's. Thanks for the reply. I think I can find what I want now. ) -- GWClay |
